Default How to avoid credit card debt?

Credit cards are powerful tool to make ends meet but sadly, more and more people fall into deep credit card debt. It takes serious self-discipline to get out of any kind of consumer debt, but credit card debt is particularly hard.

Debt consolidation is a popular "solution", but for most people it doesn't solve the underlying problem, and they soon find themselves back on the treadmill.

The real challenge is learning to live within your means, and to eliminate debt in an intelligent, effective way. Most people get really bad advice about how to do this, and end up paying through the nose in interest because their priorities are all skewed.
You need a combination of really smart debt reduction strategy and a tightly-controlled spending plan.
